Able Seaman Terence Francis Collins

Early Life

Terence was born on 15 June 1914 in Woking.

He was the son of Francis George and Annie (nee Freeman). Francis was a heating engineer and the family lived in Wych Hill Way, Woking.

Before The War

In 1939 Terence was a bank clerk whilst also being a member of the RNVR as an Ordinairy Seaman.

Military Career

Terence died of myloid leukemia at Kilindini in Kenya while serving aboard the light cruiser HMS Colomobo. He was 27 years old.

Terence is buried in Mombassa Cemetery, Kenya (Row D, grave 20).
